Claire is a New York-based actor and singer. She was born and raised in the small mountain town of Quincy, California where from a young age she began acting in local theater productions and singing with her dad and sisters in their family band. The Kepple Band released six albums from 2001 to 2013 with Claire providing lead vocals on several tracks.

Claire earned her MA in Spanish Literature and Culture and her BA in History and Latin American Studies at the University of Oregon. In 2015 Claire was cast in a leading role of a bilingual student-written play, Sonrisa del Coyote, at the UO’s Pocket Playhouse. Her studies and travels have taken her to Peru, Spain, Mexico and Honduras. She is a trained medical interpreter with a passion for bridging language and cultural barriers.

Claire was a 2020 semifinalist for the NATS National Student Auditions and received the Honorable Mention Award for the Hal Leonard National Competition, both for the category of Musical Theater. She entered these competitions as a private voice student of Juilliard alumnus Michelle Haché while living in Austin, Texas.

In 2025, Claire moved to New York City with her two cats, Juan Gabriel and Beatrix. She made her NYC debut at Lincoln Center as a performer in the 2025 “Across a Crowded Room” NYPL Center for the Performing Arts presentations. She performed the titular role in a staged reading of “Comeback Queen”, a new musical with music and lyrics by Kimberly Korn and Julienne Tsang, and book by Heather Violanti.
